Rexine Sofa Cleaning for homes and offices in Azimpur
Rexine, PU leather and bonded leather are hugely popular in Dhaka because they look smart and cost less than real leather. They need a different approach from both fabric and genuine leather: the plastic coating must be cleaned without solvents or heavy scrubbing that would strip it, and the seams must be kept dry.
With flats packed closely together in Azimpur, cooking smells, road dust and humidity all end up in the upholstery, which is why rexine sofa cleaning is one of our most-booked jobs here.
About Azimpur: Azimpur is an old residential district built around a large government colony, sitting on the boundary between planned central Dhaka and the older city to the south. Government colony blocks and older private apartment buildings, much of the stock decades old.
Why rexine sofa cleaning matters in Azimpur
We use a neutral, solvent-free cleaner, soft pads and microfibre, and clean the seams with a barely damp brush so water never gets behind the coating. Body-oil films come off, dull areas regain their original sheen, and a protective dressing slows down future cracking. Where the coating has already peeled we will tell you honestly — cleaning cannot rebuild it.
Getting to you in Azimpur
Colony roads need prior permission; the private lanes are narrow but usable.
We regularly work around Azimpur Colony, Azimpur Graveyard, Eden College and Nilkhet link, and everywhere in between.
Before you book rexine sofa cleaning in Azimpur
- Plan for a hand carry
- Lanes in Azimpur rarely let a vehicle reach the door. Our machines are portable and carried up by stairs if needed — tell us the floor and whether there is a lift.
- Dust comes back faster
- Close-packed buildings and busy roads mean sofas in Azimpur soil quicker. Weekly vacuuming and a professional clean every four to six months keep them in good shape.
- Drying in a smaller room
- Living rooms here are often compact. Run the ceiling fan and open a window after cleaning — most sofas are dry in four to six hours.

How it's done, step by step
- 1
Condition check
Peeling and cracked areas are noted and shown to you so expectations are clear.
- 2
Seam clearing
Crumbs and grit are vacuumed out of seams before any liquid is used.
- 3
Neutral clean
A solvent-free cleaner is applied with a soft pad, panel by panel.
- 4
Wipe and dry
Residue is removed with damp then dry microfibre so nothing is left to soak in.
- 5
Dress
A protective dressing restores sheen and shields the coating from sweat and heat.
Post-monsoon is the best time to clean sofas in Azimpur — the air is drier, sofas dry fast, and a clean now removes everything the rainy season left behind before winter guests and weddings.
Rexine Sofa Cleaning in Azimpur — FAQs
Do you provide rexine sofa cleaning in Azimpur?
Yes. Azimpur is inside our regular service area and our technicians work in Central Dhaka every week. Call 01622-347721 or send a WhatsApp photo of your sofa and we will confirm the next available slot.
How soon can a technician reach Azimpur?
Colony roads need prior permission; the private lanes are narrow but usable. For most bookings in Azimpur we can schedule within 24 to 48 hours, and often the same day for urgent jobs.
Can you repair peeling rexine?
No — cleaning cannot rebuild a coating that has lifted. It can stop the edges catching dirt and slow further peeling. Re-upholstery is the permanent fix.
What should I use to clean rexine at home?
A cloth dampened with mild soapy water, then a dry cloth. Avoid spirit, thinner, bleach and heavily scented wet wipes.
Can marker ink be removed from rexine?
Usually yes, if treated before it ages. Permanent marker that has been there for months may leave a shadow.
What is the difference between rexine and leather?
Rexine is a fabric base with a plastic (PVC or PU) coating. Leather is animal hide. Rexine does not absorb conditioner, so it is cleaned and dressed rather than conditioned.
